It’s National Hot Chocolate Day! And what better way to celebrate than with an ultra chocolatey warm mug of cocoa.
Prep & cook time: 5 mins
- 280ml milk (I used oat)
- 40g Dark Chocolate
- 40g Milk Chocolate
- 1 x Tbsp cocoa powder
- Whipped cream
- In a saucepan warm the milk – make sure it’s not boiling
- Break up 35g of dark chocolate and 35g of milk chocolate. Add to the milk
- Stir in the cocoa powder
- Serve with whipped cream, marshmallows and if you’re feeling extra fancy you can create flakes of chocolate. From the bar of chocolate run a knife along the smooth edge, this will create flakes of chocolate.
