Bloody Mary

Brunch, lunch, dinner, rain or shine. This Bloody Mary cocktail is going to get you through and it’s a perfect hangover cure. Hair of the dog and all that!

Makes 1

Prep time: under five mins

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 50ml Vodka
  • 200ml Tomato Juice
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • A few drops of Worcestershire Sauce
  • A few drops of Tobasco
  • Black pepper
  • Celery

Method:

  1. On a plate, combine the salt and the paprika. Wet the edge of the glass by dipping into a shallow bowl or plate. Then dip into the salt and paprika to create the rim on the glass.
  2. Add ice to the glass. Pour over 50ml vodka. Add the tomato juice. Cut the lemon half into two wedges. Squeeze one wedge into the mix. Add a few drops of Worcestershire Sauce and a few drops of Tobasco (dependent on how spicy you like it). Grind in black pepper. Add the celery and stir.
  3. Add the other wedge of lemon and enjoy!
