Whipped Feta and Tomato Toast

Serves 1

Prep and cook: 10 mins

Stage of cycle: Menstruation 


  • 15 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tsp garlic oil
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt & pepper
  • 25g feta
  • 1 tbsp natural yogurt
  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • Fresh dill


  1. Add the tomatoes to a bowl, with 1/2 tsp garlic oil, a big pinch of salt and pepper and dried thyme. 
  2. In another bowl, crumble the feta and add the natural yogurt. Using a fork, whip the mixture together. If you want a totally smooth paste, then use a blender. 
  3. Drizzle the bread with garlic oil before frying in a pan over a medium heat. This should take a 1-2 mins each side, or until golden. Add a knob of butter just before it’s finished.
  4. It’s time to serve up! Spread the whipped feta over the bread, top with the tomatoes, sprinkle with pumpkin seeds and top with some fresh dill. Enjoy!
